All of whom to a Greater or lesser degree have helped greatly with this project with Quality products, advice and expertise, and could with yours!
Due to a piston ringland failiure (well, actually multiple ringland failiure) we asked around about who would be the best early Evo tuner/ builder. We were immediately told about Dave Green and the boys down at Henstead Motorsport near Norwich in Beccles. I approached Dave who has built dozens of tried and tested early 4G63 7 bolt engines for competition and road use to great success (including his own Yellow Peril 10 second Evo 3. Dave is an incredibly friendly, fair and helpful chap, i was immediately filled with confidence with what they could do for me, you also seem to get a real sense that Dave does not want you to spend money you dont need to, and likes to simplify as much as possible.
So the plan is on to build a circa 500hp car, with reliability (as much as you can) and driveability to boot. I dropped the car off and within half a day the engine waspulled out, and i had Wayne and Dave informing about progress and ideas.

So at the moment, the spec it is being built to is as follows:

Toyo Front mount intercooler and hardpipe kit
SFS silicone hoses
Clutch and Flywheel:
Quatermaster twin plate clutch
Quatermaster billet lightened flywheel
Quatermaster release bearing and modified release fork
Fuelling and management:
Denso 720CC injectors (at this point)
Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump
Ostric ECU Emulator/ Launch Control Live mapped by Dave
Gizzmo Electronic boost controller
Small update:

Also gotten the crower adjustable pulleys. All the belts, pumps , fasteners and bearing are now with us too, the rods and pistons and the new intercooler trial fitted. Hope you enjoy the pics. Ongoing thanks to Dave and Wayne at Henstead, the best service at a tuners ive had in 10 years of messing about with cars.

Few more parts arrived:
4” Alloy intake pipe by Forced Performance:
Genuine DN Performance tubular manifold with T3 turbo flange and 44mm v band wastegate take off:

Note the extra bracing for each runner, the collector and then 2 to reduce the effect of the hanging weight of the turbo.
