Being a finished in the very rare Monaco Red paintwork, we are definately going to keep it this colour. At the moment, she looks good from a distance, due to the usual quick blow over in Japan that many import cars seemed to be blessed/cursed with. However under lights you can see a few flaws in the paintwork, like sanding marks and sinkage. Its in the pipeline to have a full detailed, high quality respray from Carey Lewis of Midway Bodyshop.
The car , despite being a CE9A Evo 3, came with an Evo 1 boot and boot spoiler and a replica Evo 3 fibreglass front bumper.
The overall plan is to for a red and 'dark' theme throughout. Plans are:
Find an Evo 3 boot and boot spoiler.
Carbon bonnet
Original Evo 3 front bumper
Carbon splitter
Smoked front light and indicator clusters with projectors possibly HIDs.
Possibly a Carbon boot
Possibly some carbon canards
Possibly carbon mirrors
Carbon mitsubishi logos
Subtle Custom Evo badges/ graphics
First up:
Evo 3 boot and spoiler found in Birmingham, bought for a very fair price.

Items are now with Carey lewis at Midway Bodyshop being sprayed Monaco Red, with the top blade of the spoiler being sprayed R32 Skyline Gunmetal grey metallic.
Its the little details ...
Carbon Mitsubishi badges

Cheeky little clue for onlookers

Exterior update...
Well there were no big plans really for the exterior, but we saw how mean a fellow Evo123.net user’s car looked with them, we couldn’t say no..
We went all out and had all the options bar HID so far. So projector and both full and main beam. Options i didn’t go for were HID upgrade and no angel eye.

As you can see in the above picture, they came with orange normal indicator bulbs, we fitted some iridium tinted ones to remove as much orange as we could:
